The Thelma Codex

A trilogy of conjure and circuitry: a circle of women, the house they keep, and the ancestral intelligence built to protect them. One bloodline, two continents, one sentinel.

The Book of Sura

Circuit & Conjure

A conjure-trained chemist who has carried her family’s unbroken curse since childhood, Sura builds Thelma, a guardian intelligence, with her college sorority sisters long before she ever needs one herself. When her own marriage turns dangerous years later, that same intelligence and the sisterhood behind it become the only things standing between her and the man who was supposed to honor her, even as the older wound in her bloodline waits, still unhealed.

The Book of Sophiana

Conjure & Grace

A journalist who survived a man who mistook love for access turns her fire outward, toward the truth. As Sophiana steps deeper into the sisterhood and into an unexpected love, she discovers that grace and conjure are not opposites but the same sacred flame.

Freida: Spirit & Circuit

The Book of Freida

Spirit & Circuit

The Voice who built Thelma's memory confronts a world where surveillance, spirit, and sacred code blur together. Freida must decide what a protective intelligence owes the people it shields, and what it must never be allowed to become.

Poetry

Sekoya’s Song — cover

Poems that grow like rings in a tree, from the root deep wounds of childhood to the full height of faith and self possession. Across four movements, Seedling, Sapling, Standing, and Sequoia, Veada Denys traces one woman’s quest to understand and to be understood, written with unguarded intimacy, spiritual candor, and hard won grace. Contains mature content; readers will be asked to confirm they are 18 or older.
